Community Empowerment in Culinary Tourism as Sustainable Rural Development

The development of economic institutions through business groups and Village-Owned Enterprises has become the foundation economy at regional, urban national levels. study used qualitative Participatory Learning Action (PLA) method to identify community problems potentials understand deeply situation a community. research targets are Soto Klamud Business Group Peanut Seed Economic which located in Toyareja Village, Purbalingga. can be as examples success other locations, namely Kartadesa Village Owned Enterprise Sambak Kajoran District, Magelang Regency Central Java. data is collected interviews, documentation, observation, Decision Making (PDM). In addition, informants have decided purposively management village-owned enterprises, village governments, customers. analysis by collecting data, reducing, categorizing, verifying, triangulating, drawing conclusions. results showed that: (1) process developing socio-economic engineering must supported universities or academics social activists who sustainably care about empowerment conducting counseling, training on institutional well marketing, assisting with access partnerships. (2) Sustainable culinary tourism realized programs such training, mentoring for younger generation successful entrepreneur.
